Voici une recette américaine proposée par notre assistante d'anglais, Kali, qui vient du Tennesse, aux Etats-Unis:
Ingredients:

1 (12 onces) package of macaroni
- 1 egg
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 spoons of butter, melted
- 2,5 cups of shredded Cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). |
2. Grease a baking dish. |

3. Fill a large pot of salted water. |
4. Boil the macaroni for 5 minutes. |
|
|
|
|
5. Whisk the egg and milk together in a large cup. |
6. Add butter and cheese to the egg and milk. |
|
|
|
|
7. Stir well. |
8. Place the macaroni in the baking dish. |
|
|
|
|
9. Pour the egg and cheese liquid over the macaroni. |
10. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and stir well. |
|
|
|
|
11. Press the mixture. |
12. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. |
